With more than 2 decades of experience as a Teacher and Private Therapist in the classroom, it has been an honor as well as a privilege to serve the students of the DFW Metroplex and watch them grow in reading, math and writing skills. My philosophy is that teaching students is a calling, not a profession.
I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist & Certified Academic Language Therapist with a Master's Degree in Speech Communication and also a member of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and International Dyslexia Association (IDA).
My experience in the classroom and private practice includes teaching and tutoring a diverse group of students with learning disorder diagnoses as well as students who just don't perform in a traditional classroom:
